Russian Easter Cake (Kulich) For Bread Machine

Orthodox Easter is coming up!   Russian Orthodox Easter has a traditional menu that consist of eggs, Pashha, and Russian Easter Cake – Kulich.  This Kulich recipe is very easy and the delicious.

Ingredients:
1 cup butter milk
1/2 cup of melted butter (1 stick)
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
3 cups of flour
1 tbs yeast
1/3 cup Raisins (optional)
1/3 cup Dry Apricots (optional)

1 cup sugar
3 tbs lemon juice
sugar sprinkles

Preheat the oven to 350F.  In the bread machine mix all the ingredients and program the machine on dough circle.

When the dough is ready, pour it in the any pre greased round baking pans.  Place the pans in the oven for about 30 minutes or till the cakes are ready (depending on the size of your pan).

When the cakes are ready, set them aside and let them to cool down.  Meanwhile in the hot bath melt together sugar and lemon juice.

Pour the sugar mixture on the cooled cakes and add some sprinkles.
