After Thanksgiving I had some of pie dough left. So, I decided to make some apple pockets.
Ingredients:
4 green apples
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup butter
1/2 pound pie dough
Peel the apples and cut them into 1 inch cubes.

Place butter, apples, sugar and cinnamon on a medium sauce pan, mix everything and cook the apples on medium heat for about 5 minutes.

Roll the dough and cut it on triangles or squares.

Put apples inside the each pocket and fold it to the top from the each corner. Make sure there is no wholes on the side or the bottom of the pocket or all the juices will drain out.

Place the pockets in the preheated 375F degree oven for 25 minutes or until the pastry is golden.

Enjoy!

There are so many things about me: I love read, cook, exercise, travel, make jewelry, but more than anything in the world I love my two adorable little girls Anastasia and Tatiana.
To get my self throughout college I worked as a nanny for many years. It is then, I decided that I would love to stay home and raise my own children. There was nothing more important to me than to witness my children's first smile, their first steps, to be their first friend to be the first and the last person who they see before and after they go to sleep . Today I am living my dream life, thanks to my dearest husband George who allows me to do so.
I am going to try my hardest to share bits of our lives with you, to give you my takes on things like parenting, cooking and homemaking and if you like it - great, and if you don't - oh well, to each their own.
