Chicken Parmesan

My family loves this dish. It is relatively easy to make, it looks and taste good.

Cooking time 55 minutes
Serves: 4 people

2 chicken breasts
1 egg
1/4 cup flour
2 tsp salt
1 tsp pepper
2 gloves of garlic
1 jar (32 OZ) tomato sauce
4 OZ of fresh mozzarella
1/4 cup of shredded parmesan cheese

Preheat the oven to 375F degrees.
Mix flour, salt and pepper.  In a small bowl whisk an egg.


Slice your chicken breast in the middle to make the breast thinner.


Dip each piece of chicken in the egg and then coat it in the flour mixture.


Quickly fry the chicken on both sides, about 1 minute each side.


Place the chicken on the 8×8 baking pan.  Put the chopped garlic and mozzarella cheese on top of each piece of chicken.


Pour the tomato sauce over everything, cover the pan with the foil and place it in the oven for 375F degrees for 45 minutes.


30 minutes in, take the foil off and sprinkle the parmesan cheese on top.  Let the dish cook for another 15 minutes.


Serve it with pasta or by itself.
