Morning Sticky Buns

This easy to make quick sticky cinnamon roll is a great holiday breakfast dish.  I make it every year for the Christmas morning.

Makes  12-16 buns
Prep time 20 minutes
Rest time 10 minute
Bake time 30 minutes
Total time: 1 hour

Ingredients:
Dough
3/4 cup butter milk (warm)
1/4 cup water
1/3 cup milk (warm)
1/4 cup butter, softened
1 egg
1/4 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1 tsp baking powder
3 1/2 cup flour
1 tbs yeast

Spread
1/2 cup butter, softened
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbs cinnamon
zest of 1 orange ( optional)
1/2 cup of chopped nuts (optional)

Cream Cheese Frosting
4 oz cream cheese
4 oz butter, softened
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla

Preheat the oven for 375F degrees.
Combine all the dough ingredients together and mix it in the mixer or food processor for about 10 minutes.  I have a bread making machine, so I just put everything in it, and let it mix for about 10 minutes.  Take the dough ball  and divide it on two parts.  While the dough is mixing, I prepare the spread.  Mix all the ingredients together until it is uniform mixture.
Roll the dough with a rolling pin.

Repeat the same with another part.
Place all the bunny on the baking pan.  For the frosting, mix all the ingredients together until the frosting is nice and smooth.   Spread the cream cheese frosting on top of the buns.
